Change your preliminary income assessment

  1. Log on to skat.dk/tastselv with your NemID.
  2. Select Forskudsopgørelsen 2017 (Preliminary income assessment 2017). 
  3. Go to Eksisterende ejendomme (Existing properties) and choose Sælg ejendom (Sell property)
  4. Select field 481 - Renteudgifter af gæld til pengeinstitutter mv. (Interest expenses to banks) or field 483 - Renteudgifter af gæld til realkreditinstitutter (Interest expenses to mortgage banks) depending on where you have taken out your loan. Enter your interest expenses in the field. See example.
  5. In field 733 - Købers overtagelsesdato (Buyer's takeover date), enter the date the property was sold.
  6. In field 767 - Egen udflytningsdato (Own moving-out date), you enter the date you move out.
  7. Select Registrer (Register).
  8. Select Beregn (Caculate) at the bottom of the page and check that your figures are correct. 
  9. Select Godkend (Accept).

Facts

  • When you sell your property, you no longer have to pay property value tax and your interest expenses have probably changed as well. 
  • Check your tax asessment notice when it comes in March to see if the figures related to your property value tax and interest expenses are correct.
